This workshop teaches skills required to have a strong foundation in jazz harmony. Concepts covered include: intervals, diatonic chord sequences, and scales. The workshop will be held at Upcycle Piano Craft, 3945 Main Street Kansas City, MO 64111 More information and details below and the link.

-The 2-5-1 chord progression will be explored along with the circle of 5ths. We will use voice leading and various chord voicings and apply these concepts to the standard piece, “Autumn Leaves”.

-7:00-9:00PM, every third Tuesday of the month. Cost is $75 per class. Reservation is required on Eventbrite. Participants should arrive by 6:45. Free parking is available.
